Acting Up Theatre Company

Acting Up Theatre has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years with their high energy interactive theatrical shows, leaving smiles wherever they go! This year’s program, A Dog’s Viral Life, features Sam’s dog Jake. Jake was with Sam A LOT last year! Sam was sent home from school in the spring of 2020….and never went back! Suddenly, all of those hours that Jake used to wait by the window for Sam to get off the bus were now filled with Sam being home, Sam talking to his friends on the computer and Sam playing on his phone and video games! But then Jake notice Sam was no longer happy. This is a tale of how Jake learned to let go after the Pandemic. This show has all of the wonderful staples that Acting Up has provided in previous Library Summer Reading Programs! A great story tailored specifically for the theme, fast moving characters and costume changes, up to the minute pop culture references, great comedy and everyone's favorite: AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION! All Acting Up needs is an electrical outlet and an 8' x 8' area with an 8 1/2' ceiling.
